I know that some of us were sharing some preliminary info on shamanism and using crystals for healing and magick... and those are what I was predominantly interested in at this point... I also like learning about Native American culture if anyone wants to do that as well.

i dont know very much about native american religions or shamanism so i don thave much to contribute, but i would love it if some1 posted some stuff i really like anything having to do w/ crystals, oil, and herbs....
i want to make either a massage oil or a lotion to help loosen tight muscles for when my fiance comes home from work or the gym, something to help him relax but that isnt too strong aromatically.... does any1 have any suggested herbs or fragrances?

We only seem to have one topic going along these lines and that is the one regarding massage oils and scents. Perhaps we could start some new posts? Maybe about crystals and crystal healing/reiki/shamanism, etc.... I'd start one or two but I need the info... I'm still learning so I'm counting on you guys to help me out! I don't have any specific questions really, so whatever y'all want to tell us about is just dandy with me, LOL.

Dawna is our resident shaman im afraid my knowledge in that regards is pathetically nil. im a student to so i dont contribute much either i mostly read and ask questions.... we should each pick a topic or 2 something we know about or r learning about and something we want to learn about.... thatll mayb get several things going.... what do u guys think?

id definetly like herbal and crytal/stone sections..... ive been compiling an herbal list (magickal associations medicinal to follow) its geting there as soon as its done ill put it in here..... im at 26 pages and counting :) when i get through the herbs im going to start a stone/crystal list too..... if ne1 wants to get a jump on that be my guest. its a great way to learn & familiarize urself w/everything plus it helps out other ppl too....
we can complie a huge comprehensive list w/every1 adding things that r missing and what not..... D ur in charge here do u think its possible....

i'm really interested in stones and crystals myself, and in the course of my making wands I have discovered myself working with crystals a lot and looking up properties and associations and I think (although it's sort of a situational learning environment) that's been a really great way to introduce myself to the different properties of stones, and the different types of quartz crystals out there especially, and there is really SO much to it!

I would really recommend the Love is the Earth book by Melody... it can run a bit expensive but it's well worth the money.

rogue - u could do a section on wands... for ne1 interested in making there own (or buying 1 from u) that would b cool. i know more about harry potter wands (bought 1 for $8 for my little bro - complete w/pheonix feather- in PA) so id sure like more on that....

i am taking a trip so i dont have time to read and respond to nething else right now but i will in the next couple days when i start getting situated...... tty all then
